dforward uses singular, anonymous browsing sessions of people visiting articles in the network. These collections of sessions are compared to each other and used to determine what the next best articles for you to read are. For improved recommendations we provide the option to store longer (than singular) sessions. This is the only requirement if you want to use f

dforward on your own blog. The length of your sessions are completely configurable and in your control. f

dforward refrains from any storage of personal or sensitive data. All session data we store can be shown to you and can be adjusted by you.

dforward is embedded in the website you visit and does not use or need plugins or other software to work. That is why it can only register your interests from sites that are part of the network. It can't register any browsing history.

Use the 'Embed your own html' function in the 'design/content' section or make a note in an available typelist and add the code with the following extra parameter in the object tag:

. This will serve the widget right below your post. You may use the attachClass parameter to attach it to any other unique(!) class in your template.

PRIVACY AND TRANSPARENCY
Can I view my data session?

Yes, you can. f

dforward guarantees full transparency and control of session data. You can view your session data in your profile or help section of the widget.
Can I delete my data session?

Yes, you can. If you are a standard user (anonymous, singular sessions), it is deleted when you close your browser or after a given time period, but you can delete it anytime in your session overview, which you can find in your profile or through the help section in the widget.
